The Team
Embodied Moments NYC is brought to life through collaboration — a dialogue between photography, film, and couture, shaped by a team of artisans and creatives across New York.
Nicky Conti - Concept Creator, Photographer, Creative Director and Model
Maltese fine art street photographer and multidisciplinary artist based in New York City. Her work explores the geometry and rhythm of urban architecture, capturing fleeting moments where light transforms the city’s structures into quiet compositions of shadow and form.
Through her project Embodied Moments NYC, Conti expands her photographic practice into couture, translating her images into wearable art and reintroducing them into the very landscapes that inspired them. Her work bridges photography, garment design, and performance — transforming still imagery into embodied memory.
Emeline directed and produced the on-location films, capturing movement, atmosphere, and narrative continuity — transforming each embodied moment into a cinematic experience.
Emeline Lotherington — Videographer & Editor
Estelle led the technical realization of each couture garment, developing patterns, fittings, and final construction with architectural precision and sculptural finesse.
Estelle Chatorrier — Pattern & Dressmaker
Sarah Esmoingt — Textile Embellishment Artist
Sarah aligned Conti’s photographs with each pattern, creating intricate hand embroidery and surface finishes that deepen the dialogue between image and fabric.
Laur captured the final images of each couture piece on location, returning them to the cityscapes where the original moments were taken — merging documentary and fine art.
Laur Loncar — On-Location Photographer
Weronika designed each look to complement the visual rhythm of the garments and architecture, enhancing the interplay between body, image, and environment.
